Sight-in is in full swing!  Members, just a reminder to sight-in early to avoid the rush and not tie up the benches for the public.  Sight-in days is a fundraiser for the Club and a great way to promote all that we have to offer.

As a member, you are allowed to bring Brown County resident guest for a one-time fee of only $5.00.  Please encourage you guest to become members.

The archers are hunting,  The fall trap league is off to a good start.  Action pistol has finished their season.  And indoor pistol has begun again.  Enjoy the hunting season!

Junior Rifle

On September 11th the Junior Rifle Program started the 2008-2009 season.  This year we have about 20 junior shooters each Thursday.  Many of the shooters are thrilled to be back and are looking forward to a busy season.  We all are excited to see young individuals that haven't shot before wanting the chance to give it a try.

Most of the experienced shooters are just starting to get back into the swing of things again.  Many are preparing for the competition in January, called the JORC (Junior Olympic Rifle Competition).  This competition is a national qualifier to go to the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Sheila Reynolds - Junior Rifle Chairperson
