Junior Rifle
On September 11th the Junior Rifle Program
started the 2008-2009 season. This year we have about 20
junior shooters each Thursday. Many of the shooters are
thrilled to be back and are looking forward to a busy season.
We all are excited to see young individuals that haven't shot
before wanting the chance to give it a try.
Most of the experienced shooters are just
starting to get back into the swing of things again. Many
are preparing for the competition in January, called the JORC
(Junior Olympic Rifle Competition). This competition is a
national qualifier to go to the Olympic Training Center in
Colorado Springs, Colorado.
